This loft in the Flatiron district was originally a sweatshop above a department store with windows over six feet high so workers would have light, but were unable to see out. A century later, our team at A+I rehumanized the space by creating elevated and accessible team rooms and a budget-conscious office space for an agency that builds and supports activist movements.
